Who can use Matchmaker
You must be at least 18 years old. One account per person, and the facts on your profile — age, physical characteristics, and the rest — must be truthful. The whole site is built on people being real; accounts that aren't will be removed.
Your conduct
Be a person. No harassment, hate, threats, sexual content directed at unwilling recipients, spam, solicitation, or impersonation. No scraping or automated access. Every profile and conversation has a report button; we review reports and may suspend or remove accounts at our discretion to keep the community safe.
Your content
Your words and photo are yours. By posting them you give us permission to store and display them to other members as the product is designed to do (profiles to browsers, photos and contact info only to your match at the reveal stages). If you delete your account, that permission ends.
Meeting people is on you
We don't run background checks. Use judgment when writing to, revealing information to, and especially when meeting another member: meet in public, tell a friend, and trust your instincts. Matchmaker is not responsible for the conduct of members on or off the service.
Beta service
Matchmaker is free during beta and provided "as is." Features may change or break, and data may occasionally be lost despite our efforts. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties and limit our liability to the amount you have paid us (during the free beta: nothing).
